Playground Poker Classic $500 Heads-Up Gallery

The highly anticipated $500 Heads-Up Tournament started today at Playground Poker. The event sold out very quickly and some were left without a seat in the tournament. Most who didn’t manage to claim their seat quickly forgot, however, and were able to enjoy some cash game action instead. Two familiar faces in the field were Gavin Smith and Montreal local Benjamin Leblond.

This tournament comes during the Playground Poker Classic which features something we don t see too often in Canada, a massive $3,000 No-Limit Hold’em Deepstack, the signature event of the series set to square off on Saturday with potentially up to $360,000 in prize money up for grabs and the winners receiving special championship bracelets.

Proof of vaccination required in Kahnawake

As of Wednesday, September 1, 2021, ′Proof of Vaccination′ (′Vaccine Passport′) will be required for all guests entering the Playground Complex, including The Rail Coal Fire Bistro. This decision was made by the Public Safety Commission of Kahnawake and the MCK and applies to all non-essential businesses within the community of Kahnawake. Over the course of the last week, Playground implemented a series of measures to support the effort to combat the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), which culminated in a complete closure on Friday night at 11:59pm.
