Partypoker’s Premier League VII has come to an end and Canadian Sorel Mizzi is the champion! The high-roller specialist won by outlasting 5 other players on the final table to take the title.
At the end of the 6 heats, the top point-getters of the 12 players who started the Premier League were Dan Colman and Jeff Gross with 37 points each followed by Sorel (33 pts) and Brian Rast (31 pts). Koon and Seiver joined them in the final by beating out Daniel Cates and Jonathan Duhamel respectively.
In the final, Brian was the first to go out followed by Jason a few orbits of the table later. Just two hands after Koon hit the showers, Seiver was also eliminated, making this a 3-way tournament after just the 61st hand of the night. At this point Sorel was already the big chip leader, and after Dan went out in 3rd place he managed successfully to fend of a tough challenge from Jeff Gross to secure the win!
The entire Premier League VII was filmed for television so you’ll be able to catch the action yourself when it’s broadcast.
