It’s no surprise that there were a lot of happy players during the recent Spring Classic after all, we printed over 450 payout coupons for players who cashed in one of the 16 events. The fun wasn’t reserved just for tournament players, however. There were also a lot of extra-happy cash game players during this year’s Spring Classic.
On the Bad Beat Jackpot poster, we promote the fact that the Secondary BBJ has Frequent Winners and this has definitely been the case over the past 3 weeks! The Secondary BBJ was hit 3 times during the Spring Classic on April 29th, April 30th, and May 2nd and each time, the players at the table where the hand occurred shared $25,000 in cash!
The first jackpot hand was on a $5/$5 table and featured quad fours losing to quad fives. The very next day, quad fours lost again this time to a straight flush in hearts to the eight. The third time, quad threes lost to quad sevens, completing the total of $75,000 paid out in jackpot money during the Spring Classic!
