Playground Rewards
Playground is proud to announce a comprehensive, property-wide rewards program that will allow all players the freedom and flexibility to choose their own perks- Playground Rewards!
Through Playground Rewards, players will accumulate two kinds of points based on their play: Status Points and Reward Points. Status Points will determine a player’s benefit level and unlock a selection of valuable bonuses, exclusive promotions and special offers. Rewards Points are the currency of Playground Rewards; players can spend them however they like on things like cash back, free play, merchandise and more!
In order to make sure that all players get the most out of Playground Rewards, there will be some operational changes to our food and beverage services on the poker floor. Drinks will remain free for all players, but food will now be accounted for using rewards points. Players of all levels will easily earn enough points to eat while they play, but anyone who arrives on a full stomach will now have the liberty of spending those points as they see fit and choosing the reward that suits them best.
Poker players have been earning points as of July 1, meaning that they will have already accumulated significant point balances before they can begin spending them on Playground Rewards on July 15.
Players will have a variety of ways to redeem their points. Poker players can cash in their points directly at their table, at The Rail, at the Player Services desk or at the cashier. EGD players can redeem their points in all the same places as poker players but also directly at their machine. Thanks to Playground Rewards, players have never had so many options to collect the rewards they deserve!

All Sundays are now Super Sundays! That’s right. During the Sizzling Summer cash game promotion every Sunday will feature the High Hand payouts, Hot Seat drawings and huge cash prizes that have become synonymous with the first Sunday of the month. Starting at 10:00am and running until midnight, this promotion will award over $30,000 in prizes every week!
Unified Bad Beat Jackpot
Along with the improvements to our weekly cash game promotions, Playground’s Bad Beat Jackpot will be undergoing some major changes. Going forward, the Bad Beat Jackpot system will be streamlined. The Omaha Bad Beat structure will remain unchanged, but the Primary and Secondary Hold’em Bad Beat Jackpots will be brought together in a unified Bad Beat Jackpot.
The qualifying hand will remain fixed at aces full of kings (AAAKK), and the payout will be split according to the current Primary Bad Beat Jackpot breakdown. After that Jackpot gets hit, it will be reseeded at $25,000 and get back to growing on a daily basis before long. However, from then on, the payout will be kept at the table. The loser of the hand will take 50% of the Jackpot, the winner of the hand will get 25% and the other 25% will be split evenly between the remaining players at that table.
During the transition to the unified Bad Beat Jackpot, the amount of the current Primary Bad Beat Jackpot seed, which is at $231,000 at the time of publication, will be carried forward under the new structure on July 15. It will be awarded once a player loses with the new qualifying hand of aces full of kings (AAAKK). After this amount has been awarded, the Bad Beat Jackpot will reset at $25,000.
July 15 marks the beginning of the Sizzling Summer Cash Game Promotions, the unified Bad Beat Jackpot and the launch of Playground Rewards. When that day arrives, poker players will have significant point balances to spend because they have been earning points since July 1. Playground is the place to be this summer!
