The WPT Montreal is one of the most anticipated events of the year, and it is just around the corner!
Players have already started qualifying for the $3,000 + $300 WPT Montreal Main Event on partypoker, through feeders and satellites that will put at least 40 qualifiers into the race for part of the $3,000,000 guaranteed prize pool.
This Sunday at 4:00pm on partypoker, all online qualifiers will come together to square off against each other and the direct buy-ins when the online action begins. The Main Event will start with the Online Day 1 & 2, a flight that will combine two days of play into one so qualifying players can join the live action with a cash already secured. The Online Day 1 & 2 allows players one entry and one re-entry. The Main Event is a multiple re-entry event so players can enter multiple Day 1s even if they survived an earlier Day 1 with chips. Players who qualify for Day 2 more than once will resume play with their largest stack, however, Day 2 re-entries cannot be made with a qualifying stack.
The WPT500 gets underway with the Online Day 1A, also at 4:00pm on partypoker, the first of five online flights. There will be a series of $50 + $5 and $100 + $9 satellites that will run prior to the start of each online flight to put at least 100 qualifiers into the WPT500, click here for the full schedule of satellites. The remaining online starting flights for the WPT500 will run from Monday to Thursday at 7:00pm, with the live action starting at Playground on Friday, October 25. This event permits unlimited re-entries until the end of the late registration period in each starting flight. Players can enter multiple Day 1s, even if they survived a previous starting flight with chips. Anyone who qualifies for Day 2 more than once will resume play with their largest qualifying stack; all other qualifying stacks will be forfeited, but they will be credited with the associated cash prize.
The latest edition of the $200 + $20 Playground 200 will also be starting on partypoker at 4:00pm on Sunday, a day that is shaping up to be a multi-tabler’s dream. Players can qualify through satellites for as little as $10.50 + $0.50 at 12:00pm or $21 + $1 at 2:00pm. Each satellite comes with a five-seat guarantee but is likely to put many more players into the Playground 200.
