Brillon played a solid game right up until the very end. He was short stacked in the midway point of the tournament (less than 4,000) and climbed his way back. He played patiently and waited for the right spots, and used aggression when it was the right thing to do.
It all came down to a classic coin flip: Brillon got it in with , and Kontaratos snap called with and it was off to the races and in the fate of the poker god.
The board ran out and Kontaratos’s pair of pocket queens held for the win.
