It finally happened. Moti Hadad’s luck finally changed and his great bounty run has come to an end in a dramatic hand against Bill Kontaratos.
Kontaratos opened pre-flop and was flat called by Hadad in the small blind.
On the flop Hadad led out and Kontaratos min-raised, and Hadad made the call.
The turn fell and Hadad decided to shove his monster stack. Kontaratos snap called and the hands were tabled:
Hadad: for flopped two pair
Kontaratos: for a flopped set.
The on the river didn’t help Hadad and when the dealer made the chip counts, Hadad was covered by Kontaratos and his great run finally came to an end. He collected $870 for his seventh place finish, and, through the course of the evening, he collected an outstanding 17 bounty chips for another $1,700.
