Following Jean-Rene Lafleur’s elimination in tenth place, the seating redraw was issued for the final table. While Lafleur made his way to the tournament desk to collect his $2,160 payout ticket, the players took their new seats and prepared for the final stretch of their Playground 200 journeys.
On the first hand dealt at the final table, Wayne Derouchie had his run ended by Steve Pouliot following pre-flop all in. Derouchie was low on chips and decided to make his move with pocket threes, however, Pouliot woke up with pocket tens and made the easy call. The runout, , did not provide the help Derouchie needed and he was eliminated in ninth place. He will collect $2,610 for his final table appearance.
