The Mix Max event slimmed down from 2 tables of 4 players to a 3-way affair in no time. With blinds driving the action hard, there was little room for our 3 last men standing to breathe. Jean-François Betit was the shortest with a little over 100K, and facing 2 superpowers with over 500K each. Betit, given his chip disadvantage, was struggling to stand his ground, and his stack, after just a few blinds, had lost half its consistency. When Jonathan Jetté-Prince folded his button, he ceased the opportunity to move in with 66K on a 16K big blind. Marco D’Angelo had a marginal hand, but made a sound call:

Betit did not find the help he needed, and took a walk. Well played!
