One of the particularities of the 6-Max format is that when the tournament gets to the two last tables, they get short very quickly. With 12 players left, there were four back-to-back eliminations in a relatively short period.
First to go was Jonatan Goyette-Gagnon, at the hands of Tyrone Baskin. The next player to hit the rail was Nicola Martella in 11th position. Serge Roy was not far behind and quickly busted out in 10th place. Finally, Pierre Marquette was sent home in 9th place.
With 8 players left, four on each table, the blinds are lashing out at the smaller stacks and there is no mercy in sight, except to reach the final table and 7-handed action.
Jonathan Goyette-Gagnon, 12th position – $250
Nicola Martella, 11th position – $270
