In a dramatic hand Scott Montgomery’s luck turned sour on him. With the blinds at 3.5M/7M, Danny Boyaci limped in and Scott raised it up to 23.5M. Danny responded with a 3-bet to 75M, and was met with a 4-bet by Scott to 150M. It didn’t stop there. After some tanking, Danny announced he was all in for 403M, and was snap called by Scott.  The hands were opened.

Scott was way ahead and it looked like the end of the road for Danny.

Flop: and Danny was now two cards away from being eliminated from the final table.

Turn:

River: and Danny hit his miracle 2-outer and left Scott with almost zero chips! No one could believe it!

Scott busted out on the next hand and although he had a great run, he had to end up settling for third place.

Third place: Scott Montgomery, $85,000 + a $10,000 + $300 MILLIONS North America entry.
