In a major turn of events, Shijaudin (“Bruce Lee”) Daud Sha is the new sheriff in town, and he seems to be unstoppable. In a dramatic hand that changed everything for Carlo Nini who wanted to just steal the blinds, he open shoved UTG with KQ, and Daud Sha had woken up with AK and of course made the call.  Daud Sha went on to chip up in a few more key hands, and is now miles ahead of the pack, and is now the tournament’s first millionaire, with well over 1 million in chips.

Other big stacks include Marc Lavergne, Thomas Brocato and Derek Mccarty.

Nini is out, but at least he collected five bounties along the way.
