Day One of the Grand Prix Canada has begun! There are 19 starting flights for this exciting nine day event presented by partypoker LIVE with a guaranteed prize pool of over $500,000.

The $200 + $20 Grand Prix Canada will have players starting with 100,000 in chips and play through 30-minute levels. This is a re-entry event with unlimited re-entries permitted until the beginning of Level 11 on each Day 1. The field will play 10-handed until the number of remaining players has been reduced to 1 in 7 entries, at which point the money will be reached. Day 2 starts at the level in progress when the earliest finishing Day 1 concluded and plays until the field is reduced to 16 players. The finals on Day 3 will play until there is a winner.

A player may enter additional Day 1s even if they have survived a previous Day 1 with chips. Players who qualify for Day 2 more than once will resume play on Day 2 with their largest qualifying stack; all other qualifying stacks will be forfeited. Players would, however, retain the associated cash prize for every forfeited stack.
