As promised, the 6-Max Re-entry has delivered a lot of fast action so far this afternoon. With slightly more than three hours of play in the books, there are only 43 players left in contention from a starting field of 92 entries.
The chip leader at the last break, Thierry Dauphinais, was been unable to maintain the fast pace he set out with prior to the brake, allowing a new chip leader to emerge. David Bonneau, who sat third in chips at the break, has shifted into another gear and sent a series of players to the rail during the last two levels to take a significant chip lead over the field.
