Play has resumed after the break into level 7 and late registration is now closed. The bounty hunters are out tonight as registration hit a grand total of 221 entries!

Danielle Bracy has almost quadrupled the chip average, which currently sits at 40K, with a stack of 148,100 in chips. Konrad Gloge follows behind in second with a stack of 114,000 in chips which is worth about 142 big blinds.

As half of the prize pool is made up of $100 bounty chips, many players with lessor stacks have accumulated three or four bounties, so, tonight, it’s not just the chip stack that will tell the tale, aggressive play will definitely work in the players advantage.

Halfway through level three and the players just keep coming. There’s already been 150 entries into this exciting tournament and it shows no signs of slowing down. Late registration will be open for another 90 minutes until 9:15pm.

Welcome to the $100 + $20 +100 50/50 Bounty Re-entry! Event number five of the Playground 9-Year Anniversary Series guarantees a prize pool of $15,000 plus the bounty prize pool.

Players start with 25,000 chips and play ten-handed through 20 minute levels. All participants receive one $100 bounty chip for each player they eliminate from the tournament. A player’s bounty chip also serves as an all-in chip. If one is included in any bet, that bet will be irrevocably maxed out, meaning the player will have to either bet the pot, or go all-in if the size of the pot allows it. The final table will begin when 10 players remain.

Tonight’s tournament is a re-entry event with unlimited re-entries permitted until the beginning of level 7 at 9:15pm. Re-entry is permitted for anyone that loses their chips or chooses to forfeit their stack.
