There are now 160 entries (including 18 re-entries) and there is still more than another half-hour to go in the late registration period.
On table 38, with the blinds at 150/300, Myriam Campanelli limped in for 300. John Palmer than raised it up to 1,100, finding a call from Richard Sysko seated on the button. Campanelli also came along for the ride.
The flop came
and both Campanelli and Palmer checked, followed by a bet of 1,600 by Sysko. Campanelli let go of her hand and Palmer three-bet to 7,000. Sysko responded with a four-bet shove. Palmer folded and Sysko showed his hand;
for flopped trip fives.
Palmer shook his head and was heard saying, “yup, nobody ever misses against me”.
