Day 1A of the $100 + $10 Playground 100 has come to a close. After 174 entries, including 30 re-entries, the top 18 players have advanced to Day 2 where they will continue their quest for the guaranteed $50,000 prize pool.
The early levels were full of fast action, as competitors looked to build up their stacks as quickly as possible. Saraa Jean Yacoub took the early lead but ultimately he didn’t make it to the end. The leaderboard was completely repopulated after the second and third breaks. Sebastien “Seabass” Drolet-Poitras had a huge lead after the third break and remained in the top spot for the rest of the night. He managed to bag 472,000 chips to head into Day 2. He is followed in second spot by Loai El Ayday with 437,500 chips, and in third by Mayazal Islam Marzan who bagged 354,500 chips.

Day 2 plays out Tuesday February 4 at 7:00pm, and Day 3 is on Wednesday February 5 at 7:00pm
