Maxime Hartout continues to pick up strong hands and made the most of them at the final table. On the last hand, Hartout sent both Frederic Gagne and Steven Duguay to the rail with pocket kings.
Hartout opened the action to 90K from the cutoff and was called by Andelman, who was on the button, before both blinds moved all in. Hartout and Andelman made the call and checked both the flop and turn before Hartout led out with a big bet on the river, to which Andelman folded. Hartout tabled his pocket kings triumphantly to take down a huge pot and extend his chip lead.
Gagne will collect $720 for finishing fifth. Duguay, who dominated this tournament up until the late stages, will pocket $940 for his deep run.
