On tabel 22, one of the chip leaders from the first break, Piotr Wielopolski, had lost a massive pot a little while ago and needed to make a move to get back some chips. He opened with a min-raise from 3,000 to 6,000 and found calls from Joshua James Myers and Melanie Viens seated on his direct left. When it was Josaiah Longmore-Edwards turn act, he re-popped it to 32,000. Wielopolski decided that it seemed like the right spot to try to go heads-up with Longmore-Edwards and see where it takes him. He shoved his stack. To his surprise, all three other players in the hand also put all of their chips in and all of the sudden there was a four-way all in.
Longmore-Edwards:
Wielopolski:
Myers:
Viens:
Wielopolski was behind Myers who out-kicked him and both were behind Longmore-Edwards who had a suited ace. That all changed when the dealer fanned out
on the flop, giving Wielopolski top pair. The
turn and
river were clean for him and all of the sudden Wielopolski quadrupled his stack!
