The play has been moving along and the money bubble is quickly approaching and the remaining players are very aware of that. Everyone of course wants to make the final table and more importantly, be crowned the Event #2 Champion.
Julie Poliquin opened the action in late position raising it up from 5,000 to 15,000. She was met with an all in shove by Vicky Dube. After giving it some thought, Poliquin asked the dealer for a count. Dube moved her chips forward and the dealer cut the chips and told Poliquin the count was 57,000. Poliquin decided to go ahead and make the call.

It appeared that Dube was in very good shape and that Poliquin would need some help . The poker gods must have been on her side as the dealer peeled the on the flop, effectively flopping the nuts for Poliquin who could not believe her eyes. The turn and river were just formalities as they offered Dube no help at all and Poliquin pulled in a nice pot just as those chips are starting to become really valuable.
Dube played a great game today and was leading for quite a few levels early on, but she will now have to wait until Event #3 to try again.
