The WPT is in full swing here at Playground, and the event reserved strictly for members of the fairer sex has just begun. So far there are just over 50 entries at the tables, and a steady stream of women continue to file in and take their seats.
This event will be a one-day affair, and the competitors will play down to a winner later this evening. Competitors will start with a stack of 30,000 chips and battle their way through 30-minute levels until they have crowned a champion. Play will begin 10-handed but move down to 9-handed tables as soon as possible. The final table will be set up when there are only nine players remaining.
If you’re a woman and want to take a shot at a WPT trophy (and the money of course!) then come on down to Playground and take your seat! There are unlimited rebuys until the end of the registration period, which will remain open until the beginning of level nine, or approximately 5:30PM.
