In just a few minutes Event #6, the $1,500 + $150 WPTDeepStacks will be starting. One of the marquee events of the WPT Montreal, this tournament is sure to bring a lot of excitement and great play with its amazing structure. Players start with 30,000 chips and play nine-handed through 14 blind levels of 40 minutes play on Day 2 & 3 is eight-handed (until the final table which is nine-handed).
This is a re-entry event with unlimited re-entries permitted until the end of the late registration period on each Day 1. Re-entry is permitted for any player that loses all their chips or chooses to forfeit their stack. A player may play additional Day 1s even if they have survived a previous Day 1 with chips. Players who qualify for Day 2 more than once will resume play on Day 2 with their largest qualifying stack; all other qualifying stacks will be forfeited.
Players may enter (or re-enter) the tournament until the beginning of Level 10 which will be at 11:30pm (the blinds will be 500/1,000 in level 10).
There are additional Day 1s on Saturday; Day 1B at 12pm and Day 1C at 5:00pm.
Since the WPTDeepStacks Day 1C being scheduled on Saturday November 2 at 5:00pm, play is expected to finish late at night. To accommodate Day 1C survivors and allow them to have a good night’s sleep before play resumes on Sunday, Day 2 was pushed by one hour.
The new start time of the WPTDeepStacks Day 2 is Sunday, November 3 at 2:00pm.
Day 3 will play down to a winner on Monday at 1:00pm.
