As the time winds down on the twelfth level of play on Day 1C, only 73 players remain in contention. The top 35 finishers will advance their stacks to Day 2 so the pressure is beginning to mount in the tournament hall.
There is now a significant gap between the big and small stacks in the field, which has led to two distinct play dynamics. Some are fortunate enough to have lots of blinds at their disposal so they are able to play a wide range of hands and take any kind of line they please, but many others find themselves in the danger zone with only a handful of blinds so their options are limited to playing only the strongest hands with minimal post-flop action to try to secure a double up.
