The players just returned from the third break of the evening and it has become a super tight race between all of the players who are at the top of the leaderboard. Where as some of the big stacks have dropped, and we have lost a few notables too, with only 93 players left in contention, and an average stack of 69,000, Aaron Parsons is in the lead with 159,300 chips, followed closely by Daniel Ozanick (157,200) and Rami Hammoud (157,100). It is quite obviously still anyone’s game and over the next few levels, stack sizes are expected to change considerably as the short stacks will be in shove mode.
Some of the players who have hit the rail over the last few levels include: Michel Fournier, Jonathan Rioux, Min Qiu, Armry Senat, Tomas Larivee Magni, Brian Pinheiro Lopez, Marcel-Andre Peroval, and Johan Levyssohn.
Last year’s event champion, Jason Mandanici-Turcot has been under the radar tonight but is still in the field and making some moves. He definitely has the savoir faire to chip up, so let’s see how it pans out for him tonight.
