The field now stands at 152 players remaining from 187 total entries, which includes 22 re-entries, showing that few players are willing to walk away from this one, most players have opted to re-enter rather than give up on this flight.

As play resumes following the first break of the afternoon, Giuseppe Perruzza more than tripled his starting stack to distance himself from the pack and establish a clear lead. But there is a long, long way to go in this flight so we will have to wait and see if he can parlay the early chip lead to a dominant Day 2 stack.
