Two players on table 76 were getting short and needed to find a spot to get their chips in. Richard Redmond open shoved UTG for his last 18,000. It folded around the table until Min Qiu flat called in the small blind. The big blind folded and the hands were opened.

Both players had picked up premiums for sure, but Redmond’s timing could not have been worse. The flop came and Redmond still had two outs two times. The on the turn however changed all that and locked up the win for Qiu. The on the river was of no consequence.

Redmond wished everyone good luck and said “at least if I am going to lose with KK, I am losing to AA”.
