The $1,000 + $100 Main Event of the WSOP-C Playground continues this afternoon with Day 1B. The Main Event features a $2,000,000 prize pool guarantee and is likely to bring out progressively larger fields with each passing starting flight. Yesterday’s Day 1A brought out a field of 274 entries, and 117 players qualified for Day 2.
Players start the Main Event with a stack of 50,000 in chips to play through 10 60-minute levels on each of the three Day 1s. This is a multiple re-entry event with one entry and one re-entry permitted during each starting flight as well as on each Day 2 until the end of the late registration and re-entry period at the beginning of level 13.
Thanks to the Online Day 1 & 2, which combined two days of play into a single online flight, and the healthy turnout on Day 1A, 146 players have already advanced. To see the combined Day 1 results, click here.
The players are making their way into the tournament hall, and the cards will be in the air soon. Good luck to all!
